TALENT NETWORK

The OAM talent network comprises our OAM team and our partners and clients. Our team includes experts, practitioners and academics from disciplines across the broad gamut of policy, operational and research stakeholders engaged in promoting economic development in low, middle and high-income countries.  Our work benefits from our ability to leverage our team's multidisciplinary expertise and access to unique networks and partners. The OAM talent network all share a common purpose: to design and iterate shared approaches to learning that promote trust around data and the people who use it.
 

Our multidisciplinary team members come from Europe, North America, Asia, South America, Australia, and Africa, and include seasoned subject matter experts working alongside and mentoring junior analysts and interns.
 

OAM Consult offers an internship programme that is tailored to the needs of students and their academic requirements.

The internship programme benefits include:
 

  • Hands-on experience with software development to enhance skills and complement studies

  • A team approach to learning and improving technical skills under the mentorship of senior industry experts and peers

  • Unique experiences and insights into the value add and limitations of artificial intelligence and human experiential knowledge within the increasingly intersecting fields of climate change, development economics, and data sciences

  • Gain practical insights into the work into organisations such as the UN, the World Bank, the private sector, OECD countries, developing countries, and NGOs

  • The possibility of using the data in support of academic pursuits

  • Being part of a diverse team of industry experts across the globe engaged in the intersecting areas of development, economics, social sciences, environment and finance, and data sciences

  • Build their professional and academic  network in CPH and globally

 

Following their experience with OAM Consult, students have:  
 

  • Secured employment in various organisations engaged in the development, international finance and climate change spaces. These include jobs in: venture capitalist firms, Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defence, Ministry of Finance, Financial watchdogs, the European Commission, UN agencies, International Finance Institutions, the private sector (engaged in climate financing, government financial regulators), NGOs and philanthropies, and international consulting firms.
